They chatted with the public, distributed information and generally enjoyed their outreach experience, this time at the Senior Citizen’s Day celebrations organised by PPUM (Sambutan Hari Warga Emas Peringkat PPUM Tahun 2022), on October 11 &12.

“You will be surprised by what you can learn when you come out and talk to people,” said Betty, who together with Kiefer is a NASAM Ambassador. Stroke survivors from this group are often called upon to share their recovery journeys and also to lend a listening ear to others who are in need of help.

October is Stroke Awareness month and NASAM is supporting various activities in the run up to World Stroke Day on October 29.
