Tunku Rafidah Mustapha began her professional life as an early childhood educator. In 2003, upon retiring from Garden International School where she worked for 20 years, she gamely accepted an invitation to join NASAM as a volunteer. She helped start the Ampang Club and later became Chairman, a position she has held since.
Today the Club has grown in strength thanks to her tireless efforts.
A keep-fit buff, she is active in water sports though these days she prefers rowing on calm waters and snorkelling to jet and water-skiing and boating. She also enjoys walking and is an enthusiast of Nordic walking.
